Point of Single Contact - PSC
The Point of Single Contact (PSC) supports you if you want to provide or receive services. The PSC is a service and information office that facilitates access to service activities and exercise of such activities as set out by the EU Services Directive. It contributes to administrative and procedural simplification, but it is not an authority and therefore takes no legal decision.
The support provided by PSC is free of charge.
The PSC provides the following services:
- The PSC provides you with online information about services, i.e. on the procedures and formalities required to access and exercise service activities and provides you with information about the competent authorities/offices. In addition it informs you about supporting associations and organisations, registers and judicial remedies.
- The PSC accepts applications and forwards them to the competent authorities/offices. On request, the PSC will inform you about the status of the authorisation procedure. The procedures themselves will, however, be completed by the competent authorities/offices.
The PSC provides an overview of the necessary steps and allows service providers to carry out any formalities electronically.
'Services' means any self-employed economic activity provided for remuneration in the meaning of art. 57 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
The process map shows the different options available for gathering information and developing the procedure.
