Travelling events using operational facilities - Permit

All publically and generally accessible performances and facilities intended for the amusement and entertainment of participants are subject to the provisions of the Salzburg Event Law 1997 and the by-laws pursuant to this law. All travelling events using operational facilities require a permit from the Government of Land Salzburg.
Classified as travelling events using operational facilities are showmen, circuses, travelling theatres, etc.

Permits for travelling events are issued for a certain period of time. They must not exceed the duration of two years in the case of first-time permits; after that they can be issued for a duration of a maximum of 10 years.

• Full legal age
• No reasons for disqualification from business activities
• EEA or Swiss citizenship or appropriate residence permit
The application must include the following information: Accurate description of the applicant
• Natural persons: first and family name, address, date of birth, place of birth, citizenship
• Corporations, associations: exact registered company name and commercial register number, business address
• Exact location of the business activities (municipality, street name, street number)
• When simultaneously appointing a responsible person (general manager) according to event regulations: first and last name, address, date of birth, place of birth, citizenship
Enclosures to the application:
• For natural persons (sole proprietorship)
• For other legal entities (such as corporations, associations)
The permit shall be presumed to be granted, if no decision is issued within a time period of three months.

This form will be submitted directly to the responsible authority, and will not be sent via the single point of contact.
